Lasse Marhaug is the Norwegian national champion of noise, so to speak. He makes music that has altered the way people view rock. He's been active on the noise rock scene for the past fifteen years. He's known as a member of Jazzkammer and has worked with people like Mats Gustafsson, Maja Ratkje and musicians from Norwegian black metal. This spring he played with drone metal band Sunn O))) at the Inferno Festival, a concert that won't be forgotten anytime soon by those who were present. Lasse Marhaug's latest album, The Shape Of Rock To Come (2004) was nominated for Spellemannsprisen (the Norwegian Grammy). The contents of the album is a mixture of the brutality found in extreme metal, the energy of free jazz, the guitar walls of indie rock and also clear references to the electronica genre. In other, this will be a nightly concert quite out of the ordinary.

按响二楼这间公寓的门铃，听见里面传来八音盒般好听的音乐，还有女主人在厅房里来回走动的声音，像是在接电话。嗨，独立唱片公司的门铃声都如此有型。站在门口听了一会儿，就是没人出来开门。开始怀疑刚才按的是不是门铃。那是门边墙上的一个凸起的铜质装饰。通常德国公寓的门铃是在那儿的呀。于是没性子扮高雅了，开始拍门。终于有人来开门了。进门后才发现刚才听到的是Ekkehard Ehlers最近在Staubgold出的合辑Childish Music里的一首Lullatone的Wooden Toy Trumpet。

快两个月后，小侄子过三岁生日。想起这首曲子，于是翻出来当礼物传过去... ...

席间，德国时代日报 die zeit 记者，deutschlandfunk 电台 klang-horizonte 节目主持，jazzthetik 杂志写手 michael engelbrecht 不经意地从兜里滑出brian eno 刚出的新专辑 another day on earth。封面一派市井气息。从老百姓的穿着来看当时还是春寒料峭。想必是eno在三月份来北京作“声音和城市”项目的前期准备时在北京某胡同里猎到“奇景”。就照片而言，不过是一次匆忙的进入城市深处的表面印象，一次平实的记录。eno入乡随俗，拍得真实拍得毫无艺术性可言，也不需要。见照片如闻其声，可以想象eno会热情记录这个城市浮在表面的声音。面对着michael如获至宝，自称是这次旅行一直揣在怀里的“精神食粮”，我并没有流露出他所期待的一点共鸣或认同。类似场面早已被无数来自国外的镜头对过焦。上次带francesco逛上海里弄里的菜市场，人家也是这样横拍竖拍的。就像一出科隆中央车站，国人的镜头必定对准科隆大教堂的高耸尖塔。有多少人会留意到藏在一旁广场地下的科隆交响乐团演奏厅呢？唯一让我好奇的，是照片上的超市看来不像是迪亚天天，究竟是哪一家超市呢？

该专辑将于7月4日在德国上市。
